Officials and Coaches Training Begins!

The Fall 2024 season rules and training materials have been updated for coaches and officials.

• The seasonal controls page tells what size ball to play with, and how many field players (including goalkeepers, if applicable) to play with, given a particular age group.
• The rules page and the menu now have updated links to the most current FIFA “Laws of the Game” (LOTG) and the NCAA soccer rulebook.
• The definition of dangerous play has been updated to equal what the LOTG says is “dangerous play” for consistency. Walker Recreation does add to the definition, so please review.

Officials’ Training Begins Now!

Officials: Your online, self-study “virtual meeting” is all-new and streamlines your orientation (or, for returning officials, your required review). A new and more up-to-date video has been posted, and the online test is ready to go.

The outdoor training date has been set to September 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
